Our commitment to an accessible site.
FactFiled aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Text with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background, in both light and dark themes.
- Visible keyboard focus, a "skip to content" link, and menus and tables that work with a keyboard.
- Descriptive alternative text on images and captions on data tables.
- Pages that respect your browser's reduced-motion and color-scheme settings.
- Automated accessibility checks on every deployment and a manual audit before major design changes.
Known limitations
Some documents we link to are PDFs published by agencies and courts that may not be accessible. Where we can, we reproduce the relevant figures in an accessible table on our page.
