Our commitment to an accessible site.
FactFiled aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
What we do
- Text with a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1 against its background, in both light and dark themes.
- Visible keyboard focus, a "skip to content" link, and menus and tables that work with a keyboard.
- Descriptive alternative text on images and captions on data tables.
- Pages that respect your browser's reduced-motion and color-scheme settings.
- Automated accessibility checks on every deployment and a manual audit before major design changes.
Known limitations
Some documents we link to are PDFs published by agencies and courts that may not be accessible. Where we can, we reproduce the relevant figures in an accessible table on our page.

If you have difficulty using any part of the site, email accessibility@factfiled.com with the page address and what happened. We respond within five business days and fix confirmed problems as quickly as we can.
How the site is built to be read
Every page uses real headings in order, so a screen reader can jump between the key facts, the table, the what-to-do steps and the questions. Data tables carry a caption and column headers, and on small screens each row becomes a labelled card rather than a sideways scroll. Links say where they go in words, never "click here." Fonts are served from this site, respect your browser's minimum size, and reflow to 400 percent zoom without loss. Nothing on the site moves, flashes or plays on its own, and the one animation we use, the scroll to a section, is switched off when your system asks for reduced motion.
Alternate formats
Every tracker table can be downloaded as a CSV file from the link above the table, which opens in any spreadsheet or screen-reader-friendly viewer. If you need a page in another format, email the address above and we will send it.
Testing
Pages are checked with automated tools on each deployment and by hand with a keyboard and a screen reader before a new page type or design change goes live. This statement was last reviewed on September 6, 2026.
