Privacy Policy

What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

This policy explains how FactFiled, published by Henry Digital Hub Marketing Management (Dubai, United Arab Emirates), handles personal information. It applies to factfiled.com and our newsletter.

What we collect

  • Reading the site: standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, referring page), retained for security and up to 30 days.
  • Analytics: aggregated usage statistics through Google Analytics 4 (with IP anonymization) and a cookieless analytics service. Analytics cookies are set only with your consent where consent is required.
  • Advertising: our advertising partners, including Google, may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads and measure them. Where the law requires consent, ads are non-personalized until you consent. See the Cookie Policy.
  • Newsletter: your email address, the date you subscribed and the page you subscribed from. We use double opt-in; you can unsubscribe with one click in any email.
  • Contact: anything you send us by email, kept for as long as needed to respond and for our records of corrections.

We do not collect payment card numbers, government identifiers or precise location data, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, email privacy@factfiled.com and we will delete it.

How we use information

To operate and secure the site, to measure which pages are useful, to show and measure advertising, to send the newsletter you asked for, and to answer your messages. We do not sell your email address.

Advertising and "sale" or "sharing" under US state law

Some US state privacy laws treat the use of advertising cookies as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To opt out of personalized advertising and the sharing of your information with advertising partners, use the consent controls available through the "Privacy choices" link in the footer, or send a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser, which we honor. Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Iowa, Delaware, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, Rhode Island and other states with comprehensive privacy laws also have the right to access, correct and delete personal information and to appeal a decision; email privacy@factfiled.com to exercise these rights. We do not discriminate against you for exercising them.

Readers in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, our legal bases are consent (advertising and analytics cookies, the newsletter) and legitimate interests (security, operating the site). You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data and to object to processing; contact privacy@factfiled.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority. Consent for advertising is collected through a Google-certified consent management platform using the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework.

International transfers

FactFiled is published from the United Arab Emirates and hosted on servers in the United States. By using the site you understand that your information is processed in those countries.

Server logs: up to 30 days. Analytics: aggregated and retained per the provider's default settings. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe, then removed from active lists within 10 days. Correspondence: as long as needed for the purpose.

Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, restrict access to systems that hold personal data, and store no more than we need.
