Honda and Acura recalls 2026

Every vehicle safety recall in the United States is filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration under a campaign number, setting out the defect, the risk it creates and the remedy in the manufacturer's own words. This page reads those records for Honda and Acura models of the 2024, 2025 and 2026 model years and lists every campaign filed in 2026, newest first. Acura is included because Honda files its recalls, often in the same campaign as the Honda-badged cars.

9 campaigns have been filed so far in 2026, covering about 1.3 million vehicles. One accounts for most of that. Campaign 26V366000 of June 4, 2026 covers 1,048,613 Accord, CR-V and Civic hybrids whose temporary spare tire may be the wrong size for the car it is carried in, which NHTSA records as a tire defect rather than a manufacturing fault in the car itself.

Three of the nine are motorcycles rather than cars, covering the CMX, CB and CL ranges, which is worth knowing if you searched for a Honda recall expecting only cars. The models column shows the model years in the 2024 to 2026 range that NHTSA lists for the campaign; the summary names the fuller range the manufacturer reported, which sometimes reaches back further, so a campaign here may also cover older vehicles.
